Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, primarily loaders, shears, grapple, skid steers, forklifts, and tractor/trailers. The role involves performing daily preventive maintenance, physical duties associated with the operation, and maintaining necessary paperwork.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
Perform physical duties associated with equipment operation.
Maintain necessary paperwork pertinent to assigned tasks.
Ensure compliance with dress code and proper PPE at all times.
Prepare all necessary documentation including Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Tool Orders.
Work with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.
Perform welding, torch cutting, grinding, and weld set-up.
Set up and break down machinery.
Assist operations by occasionally operating balers and heavy equipment such as skid steers, front loaders, and forklifts.
Make decisions, solve problems, and handle high-stress situations calmly and safely.
Work independently in the absence of direct supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial setting that is often loud and dirty, with work primarily performed outdoors. Proper PPE must be worn at all times to ensure safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
