Dentons US LLP is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Supervisor to oversee our Azure infrastructure operations and lead our infrastructure team. This senior role is crucial for driving technological innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning infrastructure strategies with the Firm's goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for Azure infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Oversee large-scale projects including cloud migrations, technology refreshes, and infrastructure optimizations
Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives
Establish and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Drive automation and standardization efforts across the infrastructure landscape
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure services
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in cloud environments
Other duties as assigned to fully meet with requirements of this position
Experience & Qualifications
10+ years in IT infrastructure management, with a strong recent focus on Microsoft Azure
Advanced Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
Deep expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, including advanced configurations and optimizations
Proficiency in cloud security best practices, including implementation of Zero Trust architectures
Background in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep
Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud strategies
Knowledge of Azure cloud networking concepts
Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing technical teams
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving technological landscape
Exceptional project management skills, including budget management and resource allocation
Additional Considerations
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are highly desirable
Experience in legal or professional services sector is a plus
Salary
Chicago Only DOE: $160,000 - $185,000
Washington DC DOE: $165,000 - $190,000
