Insight Global Endpoint Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our team. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 Responsible for administration and configuration of enterprise endpoint management services on cloud and on-premises

 Help with the automation of application packaging and delivery, patch management, secure connectivity, and other daily and project tasks.

 Help design and implement "cloud-first" solutions, work with others to create automated solutions that improve functionality, reduce manual efforts, and make the team and product more effective.

 This role requires hands-on skills and the ability to help with automation scripting, policy, and code reviews.

 Automate our end user productivity solutions for desktop, laptop, virtual machines, and mobile device image deployment and software packaging.

 Manage systems deployment process for MacOS, Windows, and Linux machines.

 Oversee deploying, maintaining and updating a standard policy for endpoints, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

 Use a globally scalable approach to endpoint refresh and deployment with automation for a 'touch-less' migration experience.

 Work with other engineers to do technical planning, system integration, verification and validation for systems imaging and deployment of endpoint technologies, including Windows MacOS, and Linux.

 Document system configurations and standard processes for deployment, patching, securing, asset tracking, lifecycle, and hardware/software support.

 Interface with vendors as needed to open support tickets and ensure resolution

Security and Compliance:

 Provide solutions within the technology stack while keeping in mind the IT security policies

 Work directly with Freemans managed services provider to ensure any issues and security findings are addressed and remediated.

 Adhere to established policies, processes and procedures to ensure that systems are in corporate, security, regulatory and legal compliance

Monitoring and Observability:

 Develop and promote best practices for managing resources optimally.

 Ensure supported systems respond efficiently for the organization by using and having oversight of monitoring tools.

 Perform/Run routine health checks and diagnostics on services

 Suggest improvements to hardware, software, and other technologies

 Identify, implement and update processes and metrics for measuring infrastructure availability, reliability, serviceability and scalability.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as an engineer supporting Windows, Mac, Linux OS, and M365

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint deployment processes (endpoint patch management, encryption, security controls, etc.)

- 3+ years of experience using Intune and Jamf

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Macintosh Operating system architecture (Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS)

- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Directory, and Microsoft Entra

- Proficient in PowerShell scripting

- Strong knowledge of MDM solutions for Android, iOS, and iPadOS deployments - Experience with client OS maintenance and security technologies including Crowdstrike, Webroot SpySweeper, Windows AutoPilot, Windows AutoPatch, and Microsoft SMS

- Exposure to Agile Scrum processes

- Experience with managing large IT projects using Azure DevOps

  • MCSA, MCSE, or JAMF 400 certifications

  • A+ and Network+ certifications null
