Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics Dentist in Dallas, Texas
Requirements: PROFESSIONAL DEGREE IN DENTAL MEDICINE, DENTAL SURGERY, OR ANY RELATED FIELD + LICENSE TO PRACTICE DENTISTRY IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.
Duties: Examine patients, diagnose teeth and gum diseases, or abnormalities, and formulate appropriate plan of treatment; Administer anesthetics and use of nitrousoxide; Use air turbine and hard instruments, dental appliances and surgical implements; Advise and instruct patients regarding preventative dental care; Design, and make fit prosthodontics appliances; Diagnose and treat diseases; injuries; and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures, and provide preventative and corrective services; Write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications; Treat exposure of pulp by pulp capping, removal of pulp from pulp chamber, or root canal, using dental instruments and fill pulp chamber and canal with endodontic materials.
