Responsibilities:
• Supervising and managing the creation of precise financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Guiding the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, guaranteeing accurate and punctual completion.
• Executing and reviewing account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the financial statements.
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of financial forecasts and annual budgets, working closely with department heads to coordinate financial goals with strategic business plans.
• Utilizing your comprehension of private equity-backed organizations or publicly traded companies to manage financial due diligence, investor relations, and internal controls. Preparing financial data for private equity stakeholders, management teams, and board meetings.
• Assisting with due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and the integration of acquisitions.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets, enhance financial reporting processes, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assisting in the preparation of materials for annual audits, providing necessary documentation to external auditors and responding to audit requests.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and efficiencies within the accounting department.
• Undertaking ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting, as well as special projects as needed to support the growth of the company.
Interested candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or parts passed, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close, consolidating and preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash forecasting, mergers and acquisitions and due diligence.
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or accounting field
• Proficient in Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated experience in Auditing
• Holds a University Degree in a relevant field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required
• Experienced in Month End Close and Month-end Close Activities
• Ability to prepare Month-end Journal Entries
• Proficient in Monthly Account Reconciliation and Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) and Due Diligence
• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements and prepare Consolidated Financial Statements
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements
• Proficient in Budgeting and Budgeting - Forecasting
• Experienced in Cash Forecasting
