job summary:

Performs basic production of transit door leaf and less complicated sub-components including preparation of parts, actual production per engineering drawings and specifications, and packaging of the product to required specifications. Utilizes documentation such as production drawings, wiring schematics and work instructions both written and verbal. May perform fabricating, crimping, drilling and some mechanical/ wiring installations. Self-inspects work throughout the production process. May be assigned to high-speed production group. Maintains neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards. Meets all quality, quantity, and established manufacturing practices to satisfy customer requirements. Computer literate and basic software operations needed to perform job duties, calculations, and testing. Assist in shipping, receiving and inventory duties when specified and needed. Lifting - up to 30 lbs - bending, stooping, reaching on a continuous basis throughout the workday.

salary: $16.5/hr

work hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM

qualifications:

• up to 35 lbs. (medium lifting)

skills:

• Inspect quality and defects of products

• Use measurement devices such as calipers & micrometers

• Assemble products according to specifications

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
