ManpowerGroup Area Sales Manager in Cypress, California

Our client, a manufacturer of CNC manufacturing equipment and tooling is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be part of the Sales Team supporting the Greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, 5 years minimum B2B sales experience and experience with CNC machinery sales is a huge plus, and will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Location: Cypress, California

Pay Range: $62K + commission potential of over $113K.

What’s the Job?

  • Business development, building and fostering customer relationships, new and existing business.

  • Promoting the sale of company products, and providing technical sales support.

  • Proactively visiting customer facilities for review of outstanding engineering and service related problems, including strategic review of sales opportunities for a minimum of 25 visits per week.

  • Territory planning and CRM reports.

  • Semiannual visits to OEM factories in Jampan, Germany, Italy and China.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant B2B technical sales experience OR

  • AA degree + 5 years of relevant B2B technical sales experience.

  • Recent experience in machine tool environments preferred.

  • Valid driver's license + clean driving record.
