CITY OF CUT BANK LIFEGUARDS in CUT BANK, Montana
City of Cut Bank is hiring Lifeguards for the summer season at the local Swimming Pool..You will be expected to perform duties of lifeguard, cashier, and pool maintenance. May also perform duties in ground maintenance. Must assure that all participants in programs have a safe and secure enviroment. You will also perform duties of water treatment, backwashing, maintenance and cleaning of the pool. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: You shall also meet the Federal age requirements and succesfully complete certified Lifeguard Training, Standard First Aid and CPR are requirements. Water Safety Instructor Certification is desirable. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Shall possess required certifications for assigned tasks and must be physically able to perform as a Lifeguard. Work is generally performed outdoors and may be subject to sun, heat, cold, and exposure to chlorine. ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE: Perform lifeguard duties in/on pool premises; teach swimming lessons; supervise changing house; maintain pool facilities and pool operations, may perform duties as needed; have good communication skills with the public; work requires physical effort related to assignments that may include running, walking, climbing, swimming, bending, stooping and lifting. Work is performed outdoors and will be exposed to Chlorine.
