The Audio Media Technology (AMT) Audio team provides the audio foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including iPhone/iPad, AirPods, Vision Pro, Apple TV, HomePod, Apple Watch, and macOS, as well as developer support via numerous system frameworks. The team is seeking an experienced integration engineer to support the daily integration workflow, as well as the maintenance and expansion of the CI tool running on Apples internal cloud infrastructure. This includes: automation services for embedded platforms, developing python software supporting the tooling, managing the team’s large source control system and numerous software releases across multiple platforms.

Description

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will work closely with the software engineering, build automation, and quality assurance teams, and duties will include handling build, integration and submission of the team’s various projects into the numerous software releases of Apple’s various platforms. A successful candidate will also be involved in the design, enhancement, and automation of source code integration processes, and contributing to our CI tool to support engineering and QA teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SW development and/or system integration experience

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in Python programming, with experience in data visualization a plus

  • Highly competent with git version control system

  • Possess a deep understanding of Software testing and QA methodologies

  • Creative thinking and strong problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience investigating and triaging software build failures

  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative team environment

  • Experience in shell scripting a plus

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Alchemy, Flask, Django a plus

  • Experience with Xcode a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
