The Home Platforms Software Team creates solutions for the home, from building incredible movie-watching experiences to building the ecosystem to allow Apple devices to work better together. We make software for Apple TV, HomePod, and iPhone that allows our users to have a transformative listening experience anywhere in their house, to enjoy watching their favorite shows with stunning Dolby Vision quality and Atmos surround, and to play the newest hit from Apple Arcade. We are seeking a creative, customer-focused, technical manager to drive the tvOS System UI experience, including the Home Screen and Control Center. Description

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about taking tvOS to the next level. You will lead a team of talented engineers developing exciting new features that bring joy to our users. This position requires deep knowledge of UIKit/SwiftUI. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with our engineering teams, partner with designers, and coordinate with other teams at Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience managing iOS engineering teams

  • Experience successfully shipping large-scale iOS applications

  • Expertise developing apps with UIKit, SwiftUI, and other Apple app development frameworks

  • Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communications skills

  • Personable & charismatic leader capable of inspiring your team and others to action

  • Open-minded with strong collaboration skills.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
