Maintenance Technician

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing and replacing equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and conducting preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate and install parts as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and train junior technicians when necessary.
• Demonstrate leadership skills by taking initiative and making sound decisions.

Skills:

• Strong technical skills in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
