Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Systems Administrator role based in Cromwell, Connecticut. This role entails managing the security structure of our Microsoft environment, administering the configuration and security of our Azure environment, and many other responsibilities related to IT systems and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and managing the security structure of our Microsoft environment

• Administering the configuration and security of our Azure environment

• Conducting planning for Microsoft product deployment and product planning

• Administering the Office 365 environment to ensure availability

• Managing the local Microsoft servers to ensure systems are patched, updated, and secure

• Setting our organization’s Security Policies

• Serving as a system administrator for our SharePoint environment

• Administering our PC rollout methodology

• Managing and monitoring our Phishing training systems and implementing plans to ensure success

• Performing system wide security audits on a regular basis to ensure a secure environment

• Configuring and documenting SaaS product workflows

• Performing staff training and support for IT systems and solutions

• Evaluating SaaS products within a group

• Implementing and administering SaaS products to ensure security, operability, and ease of use

• Working within the bounds of IT standards to develop business solutions using a combination of local IT capabilities and SaaS products.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies

• Experience with Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, MS Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, PowerShell, PowerShell Scripting

• Ability to manage and monitor system performances

• Experience with system installations, configurations, and updates

• Strong knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery

• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and also work independently when required
