CACI is currently looking for junior level Project Operations Specialist to join our team integrating next generation digital engineering and digital warfare systems for the Department of Defense. The Opportunity:

  • Understand the project/program processes and procedures; this will include Counter-Unmanned Systems (CUxS) effort supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division.

  • Support the Project Manager on the organization, direction and coordination planning and execution of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations.

  • Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

  • Responsible for support of program business and functional operations

  • Identifying and facilitating resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas.

  • May support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring the program activities.

  • Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.

  • Ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Project Manager and oversees technical teams on projects or segment of projects through full life cycle planning, development, and sustainment phases.

  • Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities and support for a government site, facility, or multiple locations.

  • Provides support of full life cycle development, systems development, systems maintenance, risk and change management, and production activities and for necessary support resources.

  • Works in dynamic and changing environment while assuring key milestone objectives are satisfied with a focus within cost budget constraints.

  • Maintains awareness of full program goals and efforts to assure opportunities for shared resources and technical overlap is properly managed are utilized.

  • Customer point of contact and provides technical presentations as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years’ experience.

  • Active Security Clearance

  • Ability to support management of project schedules and project integrations within site processes.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience of increasing responsibility in the field of project planning and tracking, experience in resource estimation and management as program manager of research, development, and sustainment programs.

  • Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.

  • Experience with program management, Readiness reviews, and Governance boards.

  • Experience with working in team environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with requirements tracking.

  • Demonstrated experience creating, drafting, and reviewing program documentation.

  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000 - $117,500
