Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a contract HR Generalist for our client based in Covington, Georgia. You will be responsible for handling various HR tasks including but not limited to payroll, benefits, recruiting, and employee relations. This position is 100% onsite in Covington GA and does not offer remote working opportunities. This role will be working with a team of HR colleagues, and is not a sole HR function.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies

• Oversee employee benefit programs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely resolution of any issues

• Undertake recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for HR management tasks

• Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance, and resolving issues in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Stay up-to-date with labor law changes and ensure company compliance

• Manage employee leave requests, including FMLA, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and maintained

• Promote effective communication throughout the organization, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role within the IT Services industry.

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software for HR management.

• Strong understanding and experience with Benefit Functions.

• Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external interaction.

• Proven track record of ensuring Compliance in all HR practices.

• Experience in managing Employee Relations and resolving conflicts.

• Familiarity with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in employee welfare.
