Job sumary:

To ensure all MB suppliers (outside storage facilities) maintain compliance to MB and customer quality and food safety requirements and have the relevant Food Safety MB food safety management systems in place.

To be the first point of contact regarding Quality, Food Safety and packaging issues identified at the outside storage facilities and ensure QIP’s are reported and dealt with in a timely manner. Develop and maintain productive quality and Food Safety focused relationships with all outside storage facilities.

Major duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage outside storage facility Food Safety and Quality compliance schedule on Coruson, ensuring audits are completed at the agreed frequency based on risk (starting point monthly, minimum requirement 6 monthly).

  • Develop and maintain the outside storage facility Quality and Food Safety Management system to fully integrate all relevant internal, external and customer requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement through effective management of Corrective action reports with the outside storage facilities management team.

  • Manage any traceability requests with outside storage facility stock teams as required to support product recoveries. Ensure that any affected stock store in outside storage facilities if placed on hold as per the MB on hold procedure.

  • Ensure that all MB and customer product specifications are adhered to on intake, despatch, and delivery. Ensure that QIP issues are raised on MBSync4S within a timely manner.

  • To support outside storage facilities with their HACCP plans and complete HACCP review annually or if any significant changes occur within the facility.

  • Manage the outside storage facilities MB external audit program and representative MB for any external Food Safety audits relating to customer requirements.

  • Develop and report outside storage facility quality/food safety KPI scorecard and report on performance monthly.

  • Review outside storage facility SLA annually ensuring all up to date Food Safety and Quality requirements are incorporated.

  • Manage outside storage facility concessions against customer guide rails to ensure Food Safety and Quality.

Qualifications

Profile

Desirable:

  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

  • Knowledge and experience of HACCP and ISO

  • Minimum of HACCP level 3 certification

  • Knowledge of Food Safety Legislation

  • Food Process knowledge would be an advantage.

  • Audit training or the equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge and experience of QMS management.

  • Knowledge and experience of Pest Control Management systems.

  • Understanding of the FSSC22000 food safety standard
