St. Charles Community College Part-time Faculty: Computer Aided Drafting in Cottleville, Missouri
St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.
SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our two (2) part-time faculty position to teach our Computer Aided Drafting course this upcoming semester. Part-time appointments are made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.
Our part-time faculty may participate in benefits such as a 50% SCC tuition waiver for themselves and their families, professional development, fitness center and child care and bookstore discount.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:Considerable knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit software particularly as it applies to 3D work is necessary. Previous teaching experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students is important.
