Aston Carter Human Resource Manager (Investigations) in Cottage Grove, Minnesota
Contract assignment
Job Description:
Work with leaders, managers and employees to provide advice and coach both parties on all employee relations issues. Provide strong partnership on performance management, disciplinary processes, restructuring activity, legal issues, investigations, conflict management, etc. Your work involves assessing and resolving complex employee relations matters ensuring consistency across client groups and alignment with the companies practices.
· Manage employee complaints and issues involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.
· Partner and assist your assigned locations and businesses with employee relations services as requested or as need arises on urgency or as workflow dictates.
· Confer with HRBPs and provide guidance and/or consultation making sure they have access to correct policies/procedures and are using the tools and resources available.
· Work with legal resources and consultants to ensure employee relations activities adhere to company policy and legal and regulatory requirements.
· Help prepare audits, reporting and compliance reviews pertaining to local regulations and programs.
· Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
· Contribute or lead internal projects
· Manage employee concerns escalated from the companies Ethics and Compliance Hotline.
· Prioritize between longer-term proactive projects and real-time issue resolution
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE
4-5yrs of experience in People relationships or 6+ years experience
Need to have high volume of investigations and able to do relationship building.
Need to be able to work with people who are remote.
Bachelors
Microsoft Suite and Teams
NICE TO HAVE
6+ years of experience
Candidate is coming from a large corporation
Law enforcement prior experience
Case track experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
