Cornerstone Family Healthcare Dentist in Cornwall, New York
Location:2570 Route 9W Ste. 10, Cornwall, NY 12518Responsibilities: Provide direct dental care, including exam and diagnosis, x-ray, placement and restoration, construction of prosthesis, teeth extractions, and root canal therapy. Provide consultation to director regarding planning, evaluation, and development dental services. Coordinate dental services with other professional services. Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date patient files and records. Maintain cognizance of State and Federal regulations in an effort to ensure Cornerstone’s compliance for reporting, licensing, and code requirements. Participate in meetings, conferences, and committees to develop and maintain high quality health care and complete patient care plans and reviews. Maintain records, files, logs, and reports in accordance with Center policy, as well as maintain and care for equipment. Attend and participate in monthly department, All Staff, and other required meetings to help promote consistency in dental practice protocols. Adhere to all clinical, administrative, and general policies and procedures as outlined in the Cornerstone Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook. Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of Cornerstone including, but not limited to, patient confidentiality, financials and employee relations. Position requires 10% domestic travel within the same metropolitan statistical area.Educ./experience: Requires Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, or foreign equivalent, current dental license to practice in New York State, and completion of a one-year dental residency program.
