For International, the role is responsible for the sensitive and specialized moderate to complex functions required for the delivery of wealth management services and solutions to International clients, with a focus on managing risk. Provide support to additional Specialty-specific processes and business functions as needed. This analytical role is responsible for sensitive and specialized moderate to complex functions in the Operations/AML Support team of International Wealth Management (IWM). The functions are tied to a wide range of critical processes such a client onboarding, new account opening, wire transfer processing, tax document processing, account maintenance, business continuity, and risk management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles a range of complex duties (moderate to material) involving client transactions and problem resolution including but not limited to money transfers and client onboarding involving BSA/AML approval process

  • Under supervision and direction of the Group Support Leader, supports other operational needs of the Specialty business such as BSA/AML coordination for SEG, coordination of the new account process, Reg-E international wire processing, tax document certification (i.e., W8) support, etc.

  • Participate in key projects, as needed.

Specific to International specialists:

  • Analyzes and processes documentation for client onboarding, new account opening and client/account changes.

  • Works closely with client team to gather information for FIU pre-approval review

  • Coordinates FIU pre-approval process for all new International Wealth clients and works as a liaison with the FIU teammates.

  • Responsible for the client onboarding process of new clients approved by FIU

  • Coordinates new account opening process for new and existing clients

  • Assist with tax document certification process

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years financial services operations experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in conjunction with and in support of client-facing teammates

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products including Access.

  • Self-driven and must be able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years international private banking and/or CIP/AML experience

  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish
