The Sr. D esktop Support S pecialist provides triage, diagnostic , and troubleshooting technical support services , related to business applications and operating systems , to ensure enterprise-wide networks and periphe rals are functioning properly. This employee c ollaborates with project management, network services , and application development to identify requirements and resolutions to inci dences.

Department Specific Functions

  • Respond to tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person

  • Work with system administrator to provide customers with superior service

  • S upport coaches and student athletes with technology issues  

  • Assist NCAA, ACC, ESPN and other vendor personnel with technological integration with university systems. 

  • Knowledge of GoFMX Facilities Management system is a plus.  

  • Provide and remove access using CBORD and Onity access control platforms. 

  • Assist with technology integrations at venues for the different sports  .

  • Attend sporting events and provide support for technology issues that may arise. 

  • Contribute to knowledgebase by well documenting solutions to incidents. 

  • Provide Game Day Support – Nights and Weekends

  • Daktronics – Scoreboard

  • XO S - Football

  • DVSports and ECHO replay

  • Genius Sports / StatBroadcaster / NCAA In-Arena Utility

  • Rudimentary knowledge of audiovisual data flows

  • Dante Audio Controller routing

  • AV over IP protocols (HLS, RTMP, RTSP)

  • Maintain Student Athlete Computer Lab

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education:

    Associate’s d egree in relevant field

    Certification and Licensing:

    A

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience . Athletics experience is a plus.

  • Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.

    Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes

    The ability to work in a high energ y environment .
