Description

Are you a finance professional with a sharp eye for details and a passion for ensuring the financial success of programs and projects? We're seeking a Project Accountant to manage billing, track costs, and collaborate with teams to maintain the financial health of high-impact initiatives! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a project-driven environment and coordinate with project leaders on financial matters!

The salary range will be $80,000 - $100,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits and highly desirable and growing local company!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate preparation of invoices based on project progress and contractual agreements

• Generate, analyze, and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders

• Assist in managing program costs by tracking expenses and identifying any discrepancies in financial data

• Ensure compliance of billing processes with contractual terms, agreements, and company policies

• Support the development of financial forecasts and assist project managers in tracking budget variances

• Help maintain a cost control system for ongoing projects and identify potential cost overruns or inefficiencies

• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and the accounting department to provide up-to-date program financials

• Assist in the preparation of program budgets, manage monthly billing cycles, and track milestones

• Ensure accurate data entry in financial systems and databases

• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and support the finance team in providing necessary records and reports for external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently.

• Auditing skills are highly valued.
