As a Contract Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for the organization's contractual agreements. You will be responsible for interpreting contractual terms, generating invoices, and managing billing discrepancies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls for billing and account inquiries.
- Set-up customer contracts.
- Create invoices.
- Accept payments.
- Process credits.
- Manage the status of accounts and balances.
- Set-up billing profiles for new customers and/or changes to existing customers.
- Process day to day billing files/invoices within strict deadlines.
- Perform audits of client invoices and account set up with detailed billing components to ensure accuracy as compared to client contracts.
- Calculate billing adjustments (credit/debit memos) utilizing billing software.
- Direct communication with customers regarding billing distribution and frequency.
- Committed to providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced goal-oriented team environment. Must possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of contract terms and billing procedures.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role.
- Must possess billing and contract set-up experience.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.

The work location will either be our Connellsville, Monroeville or Pittsburgh offices
