Job Description:

We have an immediate opportunity for a highly organized and diligent Accounts Payable Specialist, who will support the accounting department by processing invoices and expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, handling checks, processing transactions, and other required tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing of high-volume invoices

• Perform account reconciliations

• Review and verify invoices and check requests

• Set invoices up for payment and track expenses and process expense reports

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

• Use SAP software to process transactions and create financial reports

• Assist with month-end closing procedures

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Proficient in SAP software

• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
