Job Description
We are seeking an experienced pipefitter to work on a new build data center in New Albany, OH. This role involves brazing copper pipe and working with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes. The position offers competitive pay, daily travel allowances, and potential overtime hours.
Responsibilities
Brazing copper pipe as the primary task.
Working with 4-12 inch carbon steel pipe and 6 inch stainless steel pipe.
Bolting pipe and hanging hangers.
Consulting blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections.
Welding, cutting, bending, threading, soldering, and fitting pipes.
Attaching pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cutting or boring holes prior to project.
Inspecting pipes, testing for pressure and leaks, and reporting and/or resolving problems.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with pipefitting.
Experience with brazing copper pipe.
Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
Reading blueprints to determine layouts and connections.
OSHA 10 certification or higher.
Scissor Lift Certification.
Fall Protection Certification.
Safety harness.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman card preferred.
Ability to pass drug and back ground checks.
Possession of own hand tools.

Work Environment
This position is based at the QTS Data Center in New Albany, OH. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6am to 4:30pm, with additional hours offered on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
