Where Your Career is a Force for Good! The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Summer Intern within the Training Services Department to support the Training Support Center. This is a remote position with limited travel. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Training Services Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization. During the 10-week program, students receive training and develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. The 2025 Summer Internship program will run from May 28, 2025, through August 1, 2025. The Training Support Center Process Documentation Intern will be responsible for systematically organizing and archiving outdated documentation to improve accessibility, accuracy, and efficiency in information retrieval for our Training Support Center. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): * Develop plan to fully translate process documentation to new, standardized guidelines in order to pave to the way for future growth of documentation system. * Inspect database of process documentation to identify outdated documentation to archive. * Develop methodology for ongoing upkeep of process documentation. * Develop reports to identify usage and effectiveness of process documentation. * Review existing customer facing support documentation to identify potential improvements to better support customer usage of system and decrease need to contact call center. * Explore new, potential options to better support internal user usage of the system. Standard Schedule: Monday- Friday Standard business hours. The salary for this position is $20.00 an hour. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): * Education: High School or equivalent required. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours. Undergraduate Junior/Senior preferred with major in Library and Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or Data Science. * Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience * Skills & Abilities: Technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, data management, and attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). * Ability to work on a team. * Travel: Ability to travel to attend in person meetings 10-20%.Must have valid driver's license. * Combination of candidate's education and gene
