A Talent Acquisition Specialist is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Columbus, OH (Remote) area. This role entails sourcing and recruiting cleared technical talent in the defense/aerospace industry, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing market insights, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.

responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to create dynamic job descriptions and understand required skills for cleared technical roles.

• Facilitate identification and selection of low-density cleared talent using various sourcing methods and make candidate recommendations.

• Act as a subject matter expert on market trends and competitive intelligence, sharing insights with customer groups.

• Partner effectively with HR partners for compensation offers, compliance, onboarding, and other processes.

• Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify, pipeline, and source qualified candidates.

• Provide complete, accurate, timely, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.

• Drive the recruitment process by setting clear expectations and delivering on commitments with a sense of urgency.

Skills:

• Extensive experience developing and executing sourcing strategies across platforms.

• Knowledge and experience complying with OFCCP regulations.

• Familiarity with defense and aerospace industry security clearance adjudication and maintenance standards.

• Extensive experience recruiting cleared talent, preferably Top Secret and TS/SCI.

Education and Experience:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or

• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of full-lifecycle cleared technical recruiting experience in defense/aerospace industry.
