The Staffing Coordinator maintains the scheduling software, to ensure only qualified resources with current, mandatory competencies, orientation and/or certifications work in the units where such requirements are relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing, coordinating, and deploying supplemental nursing resources to patient care areas across the Mount Carmel Health System.

  • Participates in the scheduling software orientation of new associates in the health system

  • Communication with RN staff

  • Timecard reconciliation

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent

  • 2 years of hospital, clerical or customer service experience preferred

  • Prior experience with scheduling software preferred

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Flexibility with work schedules. The staffing office is open M-F from 5a-8p and weekends from 5a-5p.
