Title: Senior Program Manager-Supply Chain-Remote FLSA: Exempt Position Summary Responsible for achieving successful implementation of regional and global programs, and managing all activities required to define, design, develop and deliver new ICU Medical products or therapies. Provides direction and leadership to a cross-functional team including members with expertise from all areas involved in product development and commercialization. The Senior Program Manager is accountable to the Phase Review Committee (PRC) for overall program execution and will be responsible for ensuring team commitments (project contract) are met and communicated in a timely manner. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple product development projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. Provides direction and leadership to cross-functional teams while directing and managing project tasks involving initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. * Manages cost, schedule, and performance of component projects while ensuring ultimate success of the program. Presents periodic status reports on current programs and future opportunities to the executive management. * Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources leveraging team inputs and strengths. Implements process improvement and standardization to improve PMO effectiveness. * Maintains continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives. Makes recommendations to modify programs to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent. Provides critical leadership to ensure overall quality of project planning and execution, while minimizing and mitigating project risks. * Collaborates with finance to develop the ROI and manages the financial modeling. Manages project issues, decisions, risks, and escalation to management. Provides the communication link between the project team and the BULT and DLT. * Provides input to business unit leaders during the strategic planning process. Coaches team members to ensure process adherence and effective project management by utilizing best practice project management skills, as well as framing and resolving issues through mutual collaboration and ensuring effective team dynamics and mutual accountability. Coaches team. * Manages complex issues requiring evaluation of broad factors, and exercises judgment within broadly defined practices. Assists Director with PMO activities and initiatives as required. Assists in managing and developing talent within the Program Management Office. * Guides and assists the Program Management Office in continuous improvement initiatives. Implements and drives organizational adoption of a capacity assessment processes regarding funds and resources. * Provide coaching and leadership to Program Managers and Project Managers. Works in concert with business and functional leaders to identify and manage risk assessment and communicate accordingly. Performs additional duties as assigned by manager. * Work on special projects as assigned.
