Job Type Full-time Exemption Type Exempt Location OH US (Primary) Category Industry Professional Travel 50% Job Description ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects based out of Ohio. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work from their home office and can expect to travel locally and throughout the state about 50% of the time based on project requirements. What you will be doing: As a Right of Way Agent, you will provide land acquisition and relocation services, per project guidelines and regulations, for federally funded road projects throughout the right-of-way project lifecycle in support of the Project Manager (PM), or members of the project team. This includes preparing real estate documents, performing basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicating with property owners and their representatives for the acquisition of right of way. You will be responsible for performing general administrative work including but not limited to preparing legal documents, reports and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service and related functions. We are looking for someone who: Manages deadlines and prioritizes effectively. Has a responsible and organized approach to work. Is approachable and comfortableinteracting with people from all walks of life. Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Is a problem solver with attention to detail and strong negotiation skills. Works independently and as part of a team.
