Vision Service Plan Professional Network Relationship Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Develop and cultivate productive relationships with key accounts, doctor groups and other organizations. Elevate providers' understanding of how the company can maximize the growth of their practice. Build allegiance through recruiting, training, program adoption and education as it relates to Vision Care strategic initiatives. Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the organization's direction to achieve growth objectives and operational goals. Act as an internal resource for business partners Establish relationships with Schools of Optometry and Optometric Associations, and become an expert in assigned region/account on plans, programs, and products. Build relationships that result in positive adoption, achievement of Vision Care program targets, and support of strategic initiatives Evaluate key account interactions to identify opportunities, increase efficiencies, and enhance overall satisfaction. Proactively partner with key practices acting as a trusted advisor. Resolve problematic issues and offer solutions within established policies and processes Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies utilizing influencing techniques to attract new providers to the network or entice existing providers to participate in supplemental networks As needed, work with business partners to deliver training to strategic or top-tier accounts Provide educational content and support as needed to optometric associations and key practices to further engage the audience and better understand our products and services Take a leadership role with key, identified practices to further enterprise initiatives, collaborating with cross line of business partners. Research, analyze, and resolve complex provider issues. Escalate provider issues to the appropriate business partners and drive solutions as needed to respond within established timelines. Proactively, reactively, and interactively communicate strategic direction and relevance to practices Represent the enterprise at industry meetings for the purpose of building positive relationships that will drive adoption of products and services Ability to travel, as needed Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of health care, sales, managing client relationships or related experience in a customer-focused servicing, sales, or business development capacity Advanced communication, presentation, influencing, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated professionalism and leadership in dealing with situations involving controversy and conflict Demonstrated ability to balance provider needs with corporate objectives Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders Strong attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties Preferred Skills Must be able to travel 40-45% Must reside in one of the following states: CT, GA, KY, MA, MD, NC, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, or WV Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
