JPMorgan Chase Product Manager - Finance Decision Optimization - Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

As a Product Manager in Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

The Finance Decision Optimization team is responsible for the development, delivery, and automation of quantitative modeling solutions for the Finance organization. The team is comprised of product and analytics professionals that partner across Chase's business, software development, and modeling teams to execute the implementation of statistical and ML/AI models in Finance. This position will support Chase's Deposits business - the largest retail deposit franchise in the country.

As a member of the team, you will use a combination of product and program management skills to help ensure the successful implementation of Finance models and their integration with the business to ultimately deliver value.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with the senior Deposits area lead to craft the strategic vision for the product over the next 1-2 years

  • Own and continuously refine the product roadmap to provide an accurate view on when we will reach project milestones

  • Develop requirements for our tech and modeling teams with input from the business; continuously refine these as we discover new details and work through issues

  • Think deeply about how the multiple project teams interact to identify future roadblocks, bottlenecks, and dependencies

  • Communicate proactively with technical and business stakeholders; effectively explain modeling and statistics concepts to business users and business concepts to modelers and developers

  • Direct our embedded analytics teams to address business questions and prepare analyses that help further modeling goals

  • Optimize the usage of deposit-related data across multiple workstreams for the area product and across other Finance products.

  • Partner effectively with design team to ensure best practices being met on what and how we deliver to internal stakeholders.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following fields: software development, QA, requirements analysis, product/program/project management, or another quantitative field

  • Results-oriented; understands that perfect is the enemy of good

  • Ability to stay meticulously organized and make consistent progress across a long list of deliverables

  • Thrives in a complex environment with many stakeholders

  • Comfortable working across a broad spectrum of technical complexity ranging from business users to PhD modelers and statisticians

  • Basic Python or similar programming experience and/or experience with analytic tools such as Alteryx

  • Willingness and ability to rapidly learn new lines of business, new software tools, and new skills

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field

  • MBA or graduate degree

  • Experience with the Agile software development and/or model development life cycle at large firms
