Summary

The Manager of Marketing Operations (Production) role is responsible for developing and producing theme props and 2D signage used in Bath & Body Works stores that support bringing the brand story to life. It develops and maintains external vendor partnerships to drive innovation and deliver quality, consistency, cost savings and timely delivery on all projects. It collaborates with cross-functional partners to develop effective processes that drive innovation, as well as effective communication tools that support stores flawless execution. It works closely with the Director, Marketing Operations to ensure all projects come in on budget to seasonal/annual projections.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively develop and lead their team in all areas of responsibility.

  • Support in development of new props requested through various channels. Work directly with external vendors in development process from concept to completion.

  • Partner with Creative team and LSI, in development & delivery of in store signage

  • Be accountable for monitoring ongoing status of all projects, to ensure they are completed to expectation and delivered on time.

  • Track all details of prop buys and allocation activities, including quantities, spend and timing, to be used for reporting on budgets, historical usage and future use.

  • Partner with LSI to forecast buys that support stores primary prop replenishment

  • Responsible for entering all purchase orders for theme props and communicating buys to Procurement, Canada and International partners

  • Lead team to build a supplier pipeline to drive innovation and ensure depth of supplier base that meet the needs of all partners and projects.

  • Identify and proactively solve for emerging trends including supply constraints, increased demand, cost efficiencies and waste reduction, that could apply to any area of a project.

  • Engage in creative development as well as the production process to identify gaps and areas for improvement in an effort to sustain and evolve a streamlined, efficient workflow

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years project management experience preferred; retail experience a plus

  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to define and drive process in a fast environment

  • Ability to champion change and new initiatives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proactively problem-solve and recommend solutions

  • Excel / Word / Power Point, In Design and FileMaker Pro experience is helpful

  • Ability to lift large packages, often up to 50lbs

  • Travel required on an as needed basis; approximately 2-5 days/month

  • In office work required on an as needed basis; approximately 10-15 days/month

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
