Job Title: Financial Analyst/ Financial Specialist Pay rate: $28.50 per hour on W2 without benefits Location: 246 N High St Columbus, OH 43215 Duration: 3+ Month (possible extension) Hours/week: 40 hours per week Roles and Responsibilities: Performs specialized clerical tasks for the Office of Financial Affairs (OFA), Grant Services Unit (GSU) requiring use of multiple computations, cross referencing data & variety of other procedures Gathers and organizes grant data & information Files and updates grant applications in Federal Grants log; as assigned, generates templated, statistical reports using Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS), and COGNOS. Required Skills: word processing (e.g., Microsoft Word), equipment operations (e.g., personal computer with spreadsheet [e.g., Excel], state/agency software/systems [e.g., OAKS, COGNOS], calculator) Ability to: define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion, prepare meaningful, concise and accurate reports, gather, collate & classify information about data, people or things, handle sensitive inquiries from and contacts with officials and general public.
