Where Your Career is a Force for Good! The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Summer Intern within the Training Services Department. This is a remote position with limited travel. Working in Eastern Standard Time is preferred. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Training Services Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization. During the 10-week program, students receive training and develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. The 2025 Summer Internship program will run from May 28, 2025, through August 1, 2025. The Business Planning and Operations Intern will be responsible for a pricing research project providing insights to aid in strategic pricing initiatives. They will also assist with analysis and reporting on price performance, product and market trends. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Collect and analyze data on Training Services products from internal and external sources. * Assist with evaluating pricing factors such as competitive landscape, pricing elasticity and demand trends and developing pricing recommendations to align with strategic business objectives. * Support unit with research on product and market trends. * Analyze data, present facts, and recommend solutions. * Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management. Standard Schedule: Monday- Friday Standard business hours. The salary for this position is $20.00 an hour. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): * Education: High School or equivalent required. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours. Undergraduate Junior/Senior preferred. Candidate pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or similar preferred. * Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience Skills & Abilities: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Moderate knowledge and skill with Excel a must. * Ability to research and analyze large datasets. * Ability to work on a team.

* Travel: Ability to travel to attend in person meetings 10-20%. Must have a valid driver's license.
