JPMorgan Chase Business Analysis Manager - Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

If you have experience in Controls, Compliance, Risk, or Audit, and you have a familiarity with Product-Centric models, a role as a Business Analysis Manager is for you.

As a Business Analysis Manager in Business Banking Lending, you will collaborate with a variety of cross functional teams and executives to ensure operational risks within the space are managed to an acceptable level. You will play a key role in risk identification, control design, control execution, and oversight of end-to-end operational risks in the space. You will communicate progress on risk and controls management to executive leaders on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the PXT Community (Product, Technology, Design and Data Leads), as well as the 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense and Legal to adequately identify and dimension operational risks.

  • Design viable risk mitigation approaches that that prioritize systemic and automated controls over manual ones.

  • Manage and oversee the process of closing controls gaps via the firmwide Issue Management process as well as identifying scenarios of customer harm, while acting as an agent of resolution to ensure customers are remediated appropriately following the CCB Corrections Process

  • Lead a small team of 1-2 team members (Associate and VP level) to support the overall controls agenda for Business Banking Lending Product.

  • Develop appropriate reporting (scorecard/dashboard) for Business Banking Controls and coordination of other Ad hoc executive reporting including Monthly Business Review updates, Monthly Control Reviews and other forums.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Line of Defense Testing, Monitors, and Reviews. Partner with the Exam Governance Team on Regulator related activities.

  • Lead/participate on special projects as needed, to ensure risks are adequately identified and mitigated.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Sound understanding of operational risk management principles with demonstrated knowledge and experience primarily in the Financial Services Industry with a focus on Product and Operations.

  • Possesses high attention to detail to quickly and effectively analyze the potential for risk to materialize within existing and new products, processes, features, and flows, as well propose viable solutions.

  • Strong Executive presence and a thought leader able to influence and advocate for their views/ideas.

  • Strong influencing and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders including Executive Leadership, building strong partnerships with various teams to help deliver results

  • Excellent time management and planning with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.

  • Project/ Change Management experience and an ability to escalate timely and appropriately.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Detailed knowledge of Business Banking and / or Lending products and processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Tableau.

  • Consulting experiences that involve risk identification in highly matrixed organization.

  • Experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager
