ASSOCIATED STAFFING INC Forklift Operator in Columbus, Nebraska

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing the flow of materials at a facility ensuring clients receive top-notch service and support.
Summary of the Forklift Operator position:
- Location: Columbus, Nebraska
- Shift: Nights, 6 PM - 6 AM
- Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation
- Pay: $18.75/hour
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
- Track and oversee the various organic material streams generated at the facility to ensure proper management and compliance.
- Accurately manage and maintain all shipping documents related to material movements including municipal solid waste (MSW), metals, organics, non-regulated waste and recyclables.
- Coordinate and schedule the movement of materials to and from the facility optimizing efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct thorough recycling reviews with clients to assess their current practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Create comprehensive recycling plans for special projects tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Educate and train onsite employees on our recycling programs ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
