CITY OF COLUMBIA Maintenance Technician I - 955 (Parks and Recreation) in Columbia, Missouri
**Special Instructions to Applicants: The Maintenance Technician I will work in the Maintenance Division of the Parks and Recreation Department with the primary focus of work related to cleaning park shelters and bathrooms. This position is also responsible for picking up trash within the park system, graffiti removal, and mulching of playgrounds. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and maintain an excellent driving record. This position is full-time with benefits and an hourly pay rate of $18.23 - $22.43 ($37,925 - $46,648 annually). Plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for all hours worked 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. Position hours are Sunday-Thursday with varying start times between 4am and 8am for 8 hour shifts.
The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds. **
