Join our team as a Certified Peer Specialist and help provide quality treatment and services in the community for individuals with behavioral health and substance use disorder conditions. We're seeking empathetic, inspiring individuals who can relate their personal recovery stories to support and empower our clients on their journey to wellness.

As a Certified Peer Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our clients' recovery process by sharing your lived experiences, providing support, and helping them discover effective recovery practices. You'll work collaboratively with our treatment team to engage clients in caring relationships, assist in goal-setting, and connect them with valuable community resources.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • • Share personal recovery experiences to inspire and support clients in their own recovery journeys

  • • Assist clients in discovering and implementing effective recovery practices tailored to their needs

  • • Provide emotional support through validation, encouragement, and celebration of clients' efforts and accomplishments

  • • Participate actively in treatment planning alongside other team members and clients

  • • Engage clients in collaborative relationships using interpersonal skills and recovery-oriented approaches

  • • Help clients identify their strengths and personal resources to aid in their recovery process

  • • Respect and understand diverse personal values and cultures, adapting support to meet each client's unique recovery needs

  • • Support clients in setting goals, exploring future possibilities, and developing strategies for achievement

  • • Develop and maintain information about community resources and services, accompanying clients to community activities when needed

    Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • • High School Diploma or GED

    Required License/Certification (one of the following):

  • • Certified Missouri Peer Specialist

    Additional Qualifications:

  • • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a favorable recent driving record

  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth in recovery principles
