Job Description

ICF is currently seeking an Associate Program Manager and Commercial HVAC, Lighting, or food service technical expert to support our energy efficiency programs in Maryland. Successful candidate will lead the strategy, development, and management of commercial midstream program offerings in the Mid-Atlantic. Working closely with the senior portfolio managers, this individual will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the successful delivery of operations across multiple functional areas, including internal operations, client support, and stakeholder management.

What you will be doing:

  • Overall management of utility program performance including financial management, contract deliverables, strategic planning, quality assurance, and operational efficiencies.

  • Maintain ongoing communications with utility client to deliver program status updates, pipeline management, and provide stakeholder feedback.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with major local and national and regional distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers to support their participation in program.

  • Preparing and presenting targeted client and participant presentations promoting program awareness and participation at trade shows, trade organization and stakeholder events, supply house counter days, ride-along with sales teams, etc.

  • Align marketing, promotional, and merchandising activities for energy efficient products with key utility contracts across the nation.

  • Analyze market trends and technologies to enhance deployment opportunities for client utility programs to increase participation.

  • Development and deployment of training and quality assurance protocols for program participants.

  • Manage program incentive payments and application processing per established policies and procedures.

  • Effectively manage multiple program budgets.

  • Mentor, lead, and collaborate with program support team members, including one or more direct reports.

  • Oversee IT systems and managing ticket timelines.

  • Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 15% to 30% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)

  • 2+ years of experience developing, designing, and managing successful energy efficiency programs

What we would like you to have:

  • Energy efficiency project and/or program implementation experience.

  • Previous experience in working specifically with HVAC, lighting, or other commercial equipment distributors, suppliers, and/or manufacturers.

  • Demonstrated experience with business and client development with concentration in new opportunity pursuit and capture.

  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement in quality assurance/control theories, techniques, and application.

  • Recognized internally and externally for expertise in functional area.

  • Firm understanding of procurement best practices and contract administration.

  • Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publications.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel).

  • Proficiency in developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (i.e., customer relationship management (CRM) efforts)

  • Hold a project management certification, including but not limited to; PMP, Six-Sigma, Scrum Master, etc.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$59,469.00 - $101,098.00
