Description We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Logistics Clerk to be part of our team, based in Columbia City, Indiana, 46725, United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, allowing you to contribute to our goal of ensuring our customers receive the right orders on time.

Responsibilities:

• Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests

• Track orders and book freight appointments to ensure timely deliveries

• Process physical and electronic shipping documents

• Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery

• Maintain updated records of orders, products, suppliers, and customers

• Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and submit cut reports as needed

• Provide information to customers about the status of their orders

• Utilize management systems and Microsoft Office Suites for data entry and customer service

• Handle cargo and deliveries responsibly and efficiently.

Your skills in Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Cargo, Customer Service, and Data Entry will be essential in this role. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a logistics clerk role or similar • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Knowledge of cargo handling and deliveries • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients • Accurate data entry skills with a keen attention to detail • Experience in management systems, with a focus on efficiency and improvement • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
