Corteva Agriscience Territory Manager, Turf & Ornamental (PNW, ID, WA, OR) in Colorado

Come join our team in the role of Territory Manager for our Turf & Ornamental business! Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Territory Manager to drive the growth and adoption of our Turf & Ornamental (T&O) solutions within the Pacific Northwest region. This role is responsible for managing relationships with distribution partners and end-users across golf courses, lawn care operators, and nursery growers to expand Corteva’s market presence. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, strategic sales professional, and customer advocate who can execute on key sales initiatives and drive brand adoption.

Location: Pacific Northwest (ideally the successful candidate would be located in Boise ID. Would also consider Spokane, WA or Portland, OR)

What You'll Do:

Sales Growth & Market Development:

  • Develop a deep understanding of T&O products, market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Implement sales strategies to gain market share and increase sales through distribution and direct engagement with end-users.

  • Collaborate with Category Leads, MarCom Managers, Account Managers, Market Development Specialists, and Field Scientists to create and execute regional action plans.

  • Develop and execute key account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, golf course superintendents, lawn care operators, nursery growers, and other key influencers.

  • Provide technical expertise and agronomic recommendations to support customers in optimizing product use and achieving superior results.

  • Conduct product training and field demonstrations to educate customers on the benefits of Corteva’s T&O portfolio.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate challenges and improve their turf and ornamental management practices.

Business & Market Intelligence:

  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

  • Forecast product demand and provide leadership with insights to support supply planning and business strategy.

  • Represent Corteva at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to enhance brand visibility and strengthen customer connections.

What You'll Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Turf Science, Biology, Horticulture, Agronomy, Ag Business, or related field required.

  • Five years prior sales experience or experience providing agronomic recommendations within the T&O industry preferred.

  • Familiarity with golf course, lawn care, and nursery management practices highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical acumen with a willingness to develop deep expertise in T&O products and agronomic solutions.

  • Ability to sell, negotiate, influence, resolve conflict, and coach customers and distribution partners.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and execute on strategic sales plans.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory (ground travel with occasional air travel).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Pacific Northwest region, with a preference for Boise, ID (Spokane, WA, or Portland, OR considered based on candidate qualifications).

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
