Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and success of our business. The role promises a fast-paced experience with diverse responsibilities, including cost accounting, billing and invoicing, budget monitoring, financial forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Perform cost accounting tasks, ensuring accurate reflection of product costs and margin analysis.

• Conduct regular billing and invoice procedures, providing quick resolution to any discrepancies.

• Monitor budgets, keeping team aware of the financial status of projects or departments.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts to guide decision making.

• Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management.

• Comply with all state and federal tax filing requirements by established deadlines.

• Assist with audit preparation and execution.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field.

• A minimum of 3 years' accounting experience.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Superb time management skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
