Palski & Associates, Inc. Solutions Architect / Systems Engineering & Technical Assist in Colorado Springs, Colorado

You will Support the development and implementation of secure hybrid (on prem and cloud) and data solutions in support of US Space Force test and training capabilities. You will also support the management and extension of Palski and Associates AWS cloud infrastructure, including both development pipelines and customer-facing production environments, to be performant, economical, secure and robust. This is a full-time position in Colorado Springs with support to USSF efforts at Garden of the Gods, Peterson SFB, and Schriever SFB.
Responsibilities Articulate software and hardware needs in support of program computational requirements to support software development in open source and proprietary software languages (C++, Python, Java) Develop hybrid infrastructure engineering and acquisition support documentation including requirements, Interface Control Documents, System Verification and Validation Plans Develop and validate procedures, CONOPS, and other security documentation for review and approval by DoD Authorizing officials Provide guidance and mentorship to internal Palski & Associates IT staff in support of cloud initiatives and evolving business needs. Offer input on Palski & Associates AWS architecture. Mentor staff in the development and implementation of AWS-based solutions, as needed. Recommend functional approaches for new applications and services, as needed. Provide input on enhancements to existing cloud products and features. You have Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are comfortable wearing multiple hats, and learning what is needed to get the job done. Cybersecurity experience and familiarity with DoD Accreditation Processes and documents for systems up to Top Secret Prior AWS/AZURE/Google Cloud Analyst or Architecture experience Ability to scope, manage, and take responsibility for your own work. Excellent time-management skills are a must! B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications AWS Solutions Architect Certification Software/Full stack development experience DevSecOps / CICD Pipeline Experience Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms TS/SCI Clearance Eligible The ideal candidate would have 10-15 years' Experience.
