We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging application software. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to plan, design, develop, and utilize electronic data processing systems for various application Qualifications
Required: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software. Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting. End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. Ensures software standards are met. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Establishes and recommends changes to policies, which affect subordinate organization(s). P Develops technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Desired: Highly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs Education Requirements: BS/BA along with a minimum 9 years of relevant experience or Master's degree along with a minimum 7 years of relevant experience or PhD along with a inimum 4 years of relevant experience Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret, SCI eligible. Eligibility for access to SAP Information. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Location/Travel Requirements: Place of work is El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO May require travel up to 10% of time within the continental United States. The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $215,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job- related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
