Frontier Technology Inc. Senior Full-Stack Developer in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Overview
FTI is searching for a Full Stack Developer (Senior) to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house).
Serve as technical expert on development projects.
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Education/Qualifications
Required Skills:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have anactive SECRET clearance.A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
Experience in the following Programming Languages (at least 2): C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, & Angular
Familiarity & Knowledge: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & Nifi
Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross-functional team (required)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years’ experience in full stack development; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 8 years experience in full stack development.
Certifications: SAFe for Teams Certification, & AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.
For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($125K- $160K) . Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
