Allegion is looking for a passionate Senio r BOM Specialist to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security and access management. You’ll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep you and your loved ones safe and secure where they work, live and thrive.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze engineering change orders and create manufacturing change orders.

  • Perform BOM audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate BOM data.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and individuals, including Pricing, Estimating, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

  • Participate in Proposal Kick Off meetings and User Acceptance Testing of the BOM Tool software application.

  • Document work thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Operate in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

  • Streamline processes, support new part creation, and facilitate BOM updates across platforms.

  • Support BOM Master data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility in the ERP system.

  • Collaborate with Engineers and Designers to identify missing data and complete projects.

  • Maintain records, provide progress reports, and resolve BOM data issues for seamless operations.

  • Execute the end-to-end Bill of Material Process.

  • Actively manage BOM updates across platforms to ensure seamless and planned operations and partners.

  • Work with Industrial Design, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to create, build, and deliver product to the targeted market.

  • Determine and validate correct material master data for all materials for all products.

  • Work closely with product engineers to provide timely release and implementation of new models, major product updates and miscellaneous changes.

What you need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma, relevant associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of Building Material Maintenance or Product Structure Maintenance preferred.

  • Proficient understanding of Bills of materials, master BOMs, and multi-level BOMs.

  • Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Products, PLM systems, ERP knowledge, BOM Structure, Item Master management.

  • Basic Math, writing and reading skills.

  • Proficient email, phone and messaging capabilities.

  • Self-starter, with little to no instruction needed for routine work, with the ability to collaborate and communicate with other departments professionally.

  • Strong accountability to self, peers, cross-functional partners & stakeholders for day-to-day progress on assigned tasks.

  • Ability to problem solve and provide ideas for process improvements.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

The expected Base Salary Range: $53,200 - $98,800. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
