All candidates should be able to teach introductory CS courses in Python and Java and will have the opportunity to teach an elective in their primary field of study.

Colorado College is a nationally recognized, residential liberal arts college with about 2,000 students. The city of Colorado Springs offers many cultural and recreational activities in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Region. The college actively promotes a dynamic and inclusive environment in which students and employees of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives can learn and work. Strong candidates should share the college's and department's deep commitment to antiracism (please see https://www.coloradocollege.edu/other/antiracism-commitment/) and be committed to the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in all facets of life at the college.

The department fosters a supportive, inclusive, and equitable learning community of faculty and students who share a passion for computer science. It is our goal to provide a nurturing learning environment that stimulates growth and intellectual exploration. The department values depth and breadth in computer science; potential for implementing innovative, inclusive and equitable teaching methods in a liberal arts setting; and mentored undergraduate research.
