-Greet, register, assign rooms and issue keys to guests. -Manage customer service issues with ease and charm. -Answer telephone calls. -Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to a manager when necessary. -Control all reservations by inputting information into computer. -Coordinate reservations; follow room inventory and monetary control. -Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for accommodations. -Compute bills and collect payments from guests. -Review bills and charges with guests during check-out. -Contact Housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems, as well as report any issues regarding equipment or maintenance to appropriate personnel. -Answer inquiries regarding local dining, entertainment, etc. -Follow emergency procedures for evacuating property safely via PBX phone. -Monitor stations to ensure that adequate cash is available. -Clean and maintain lobby and common areas and water plants.
