Apogee is known for an unwavering dedication to our client's success, a warm and employee-centric work environment, and an enthusiasm to provide the right solution at the right What you will be doing: Serves as technical consultant for transmissions management and control in the Super High Frequency (SHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Commercial satellite systems Develop/coordinate policy and plans for commercial satellite communication programs. Develop definitive technical solutions that consider systems architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential, and overall end-to-end compatibility Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions to future communications and automation operational challenges using knowledge of satellite communications systems and their relationship to other telecommunications networks Provide technical and operational planning, system configuration, and operational mission support Develop technical and management comments reflecting the command position with respect to USSF and Joint actions, interface with other commands and higher authorities Assist in managing commercial SATCOM ground segments and gateways for transition to current/future satellites through concept, development, testing, procurement, production, and fielding Coordinate and assist CCMD J6s and Service components with the development of commercial communications in support of theater OPLANS Collect and maintain critical data related to the Service terminal basis of issues and capabilities as a knowledge management function Collect and maintain knowledge base on commercial satellite constellation coverage and status Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility Education: High School Diploma Years of experience: 6 years of relevant SATCOM experience to include:

Operational Experience with SATCOM systems Experience with SATCOM apportionment planning and allocation process taking into consideration all ground, space, and control networks, and operational control of sub-networks for apportioned SATCOM resources. Preferred Experience: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' of relevant SATCOM experience Compensation & Benefits: The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
