Community Partnership For Child Development Center Assistant in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Center Assistant Give children a head start! This position is set to begin on July 22nd Work Scheduled for 35 Hours a Week

Job Description:

Assist classroom staff with daily routine operations such as assisting with child drop-off and pick-up times, meal and snack preparation, and providing staff break times.

Pay Scale:

-A High School Diploma/Equivalent and relative experience - $17.48/hour

-Preschool CDA or Level II Credential - $19.18/hour

-Colorado Director Qualification/ PDIS Level 3 Credential - $20.15/hour

-Colorado Director Qualification/ PDIS Level 3 and 12 ECE credit hours - $21.15/hour -Associate Degree in ECE or Related Field - $22.20/hour (AA + 24 credit hours in ECE)

$4,000 per year for Early Childhood Education Associates/Bachelor's Degrees. $2,500 per year for other degrees related to employment at CPCD. Employee Wellbeing

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Experience working with groups of children up to age 5, preferably in an educational setting CDA or the Early Childhood Professional Level II credential through the State of Colorado's Professional Development Information System (PDIS), or plan to obtain within two years of hire. CACFP food training Ability to work with multiple staff members in one setting HS diploma or GED Must obtain and maintain adult/infant CPR and first aid certification within 90-days of employment. Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required). Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado. Preferred:
